Todays Devotion.
DON'T FRET
“After
these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, fear
not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward”
-Genesis
15:1).
Fear is the biggest problem of a
largest group of people, especially youths. The fear of failure is common among
youths. Others have the fear of rejection, ridicule, or being regarded as odd
by their peers. Some have the fear of the future- they worry over their upkeep,
probably because they are orphans or have no legitimate parents. Even if you
have a very poor background, you have nothing to fear, as long as, God is your
father. No matter how challenging your study may be, you can succeed, with the
giver of wisdom by your side. Put your confidence in the Almighty God and you
won’t fail. Fear not because He can make you achieve great things for Him. Are
you afraid to witness Jesus at evangelism? Are you afraid to identify with
Christ among unbelievers? With the backing of the Holy Spirit, you can do
exploits for the kingdom of God.
Challenge: Fear should not stop you from sharing your faith to others.
Prayer: O God, take away any fear from me.
Quote: Fear not
Futher Reading: Daniel 10:12.
